Starlin Gebbia
Commission Artist

Biography

I've lived in Connecticut my whole life. I developed my passion for drawing at an early age, replicating any image I can get my hands on using graphite pencils. I then took lessons at a private gallery during my high school years to develop experience in charcoal and chalk pastel. With these new techniques, I started painting pet portraits for family and friends, slowly expanding my commission client base just through word of mouth.

Years later, I am now a certified art teacher in CT public schools with a Masters in art education and 6th year (092) in educational leadership.

I live happily with my husband Mike, daughter Shelby, son Jase, and "fur baby" miniature pinscher Scarlet. Together, we enjoy bike rides, tennis, Starbucks, and cozy nights by the fire. I continue to fill extra time, especially during the summer, with my personal art and commissions.
